FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council. They are a non profit, non government aligned organised dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management. In short, they want to ensure that wood is grown, harvested and replanted in a way that does not negatively impact the environment. With many wood products manufactured from illegally harvested wood we believe it’s important that our customers buy our wooden shutters with a clear conscience, knowing the 100% the wood used does not negatively impact the planet.

Gaining FSC certification is an in-depth process. Our entire operations was reviewed, culmination in FSC approval which sees our products listed and verified on the FSC website. So, from the first sapling planted, to the harvesting of that tree, to the manufacture of the shutter components, right through to the shutters being installed in your home, you can rest easy knowing that your shutters are FSC certified.
