Interior Plantation Shutters continue to be the window treatment of choice and the popularity of interior shutters shows no signs of abating. This photo shows how interior shutters can cast wonderful shadows on the interior of your home, simply by tilting the shutter slats to capture the light filtering against the window.

These interior shutters are finished in a colour to match heritage bright white, which gives a slightly softer white finish than our traditional Pure White. The interior plantation shutters are made from poplar hardwood and have 89mm (3 ½”) slats with a regular push rod (or tilt rod as it’s also known) on the front of the shutters. The shutters are designed as bi-fold panels which gives more flexibility if you intend to open your interior shutters on a regular basis. While the shutters are mounted inside the recess, they will fold onto each other when the interior shutters are opened, therefore will not take up too much space in the room when the panels are folded back.
