Shutters for arches like the one shown in the picture can range from a small sunburst shutter, to a huge arched door covering like the one shown. This large arch shutter set is finished in Ivory paint and made from Poplar wood.

These ivory arched door shutters have very tall panels. Tall panels like the one shown in the photo need to have a mid rail manufactured in with the shutters to give the panels extra stability.

A midrail part way up a shutter panel strengthens the panel and provides a needed break in a push rod or an open sky push rod. The ivory ached shutters have horizontal slats travelling all the way up the panels with no sunburst effect which is often seen on arched shutters.

Arched shutters give covering to a window or door where a traditional covering would obscure the shape of the unusual window. These arched shutters highlight the unusual shape of the window and dress the room perfectly, offering functionality and light control where a curtain may not.
