Beautiful Beaconsfield Bathroom Shutters !

Our Customer in Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire chose bathroom shutters from Shutterly Fabulous to provide a suitable window covering for their bathroom window. Bathroom shutters are a great way of creating privacy and allowing air to circulate the room as well as letting light into the room. Shutters are a perfect covering for bathroom windows as the slats of the windows can be tilted to an angle which lets light into the room, but closes up the shutters enough that from the outside looking in you have privacy of your bathroom.

Our kiln dried hardwood shutters are fine to use in a bathroom provided that there is no water pouring onto them and there is adequate ventilation in the room. Otherwise for wet rooms or for environments exposed to particularly harsh moisture, we also offer a fully waterproof polyvinyl shutter product. This product however has to be manufactured with a push rod to operate the slats and unlike our hardwood shutters can only be manufactured in white.

Our Beaconsfield customer opted for bathroom shutters manufactured in Poplar Solid Hardwood, which is FSC certified, and painted in white to match the rest of their fixtures and fittings.

The design consultant recommended bring the frames and the shutter panels forward to the front of the window recess opening which creates clean lines and fits in with the rest of the bathroom décor.

The customer also has push rods attached to the front of the slats which makes it completely obvious to guests that to open the slats to let more light in or to create more privacy the push rod has to be moved up and down to open and close the slats.

The panels have lined up with the existing natural breaks in the window, and the two left hand panels hinge to one another to bi-fold which allows easy access to the window to open and close the windows to allow in air for additional ventilation. Our Beaconsfield customers not only ordered bathroom shutters, but wooden shutters for the entire house and found the process to be simple and hassle free.
