This Victorian styled new build in Burnham, Berkshire has chosen to match the white wooden bay window shutters to the brand new sparkling white bay window frames. The mid rail has also been matched up to the framing of the bay window, allowing the top level slats above the mid rail to work independently of the bottom level slats below the mid rail.

By choosing the option of a mid rail, not only gives the bay window shutters extra stability, but also means that the slats below the mid rail work independently of those above. Tilting the bottom level slats at an angle to face down on the outside ensures privacy whilst allowing maximum light through the top level which can be tilted at a different angle.
