Shutters for Doors as a Shutterly Tastic Room Divider!

Shutters are not only for windows. We often fit our shutters in a variety of places. Many of our customers have them fitted as a room divide, they work incredibly well as a room divide. We have a range of standard styles all of which will fall under the same cost bracket, as we actually price per square meter, we don’t price based on the range of stiles, the only details which affect costs are the type of wood used, although this is very minimal, the size of your window, if you have a very irregular shape, or if you decide upon a custom colour. If you require solid panels for a room divide, or even half louver, half solid panels for your room divide, this wouldn’t alter the cost.

The door shutter shown in this South East London Shutter set is actually a fairly basic design. The customer doesn’t have much room on either side of the wall. so when the panels fold back they would be more than likely to come into contact with an object which would mean they wouldn’t open back fully, flush with the wall. There are a couple of obstructions on our South East London Shutter customers’ wall which you can see from the image. But this has been over come by increasing the number of panels which fit into the area, so the panels, when they concertina back actually fit nicely into the area, on the wall either side of the doors and not come into contact with any obstruction.
