Sustainable Shutters Get The FSC stamp of approval

Sustainable shutters is a term you can find used on other shutters companies website, but at Shutterly Fabulous, we have the official ‘tree and tick’ logo from the Forest Stewardship Council to verify that our wood shutters are made from wood sourced from FSC certified forests. As such, Shutterly Fabulous is the only full service UK shutters retailer with this accolade to its name. Now, our customers can purchase Shutterly Fabulous shutters safe in the knowledge that their wood shutters won’t negatively impact the environment, as well as their bank balances!

The photo here shows shutters installed inside a window recess. The shutters have 47mm slats which is the smallest of the shutter slats sizes that customers can choose from our range. They are painted a pale baby blue colour which was chosen to tie in with the general décor inside the room. The shutters also have a regular front facing push rod on the panels, which links the slats together, to open and close in unison. You can also opt for 47mm slats with the open sky concealed push rod system at no extra charge.

At Shutterly Fabulous all the wood shutters our customers buy are just that – wood. We don’t make shutters from MDF or any materials that don’t have the same longevity and attributes as wood. All the wood we use is FSC certified which is why we carry the FSC ‘tree and tick’ logo and are listed on the FSC website as supplier of certified FSC wood shutters.

It doesn’t matter if you buy painted shutters or stained shutters. All the wood shutters that we sell are made from the same great quality, FSC certified wood.
