Internal Shutters improve Sussex Window view
East Sussex based Shutterly strike again
Shutterly Fabulous in Brighton East Sussex provide many different types of internal window shutters. One of the main advantages of internal window shutters is that they not only improve the privacy of your home from the outside, but they also help to create a stunning window covering which, if like this Sussex customer, you have a less than attractive view out side your window, or a view directly into another property. The main advantage is that maximum light can be let into the room by adjusting the slats, while not having to draw back a different window covering such as curtains or roller blinds.
Our Sussex customer has opted for their internal window shutters to include two large panels finished in white, with matching white hinges with a mid rail. This mid rail allows the customer to have the option of tilting the slats in their internal window shutters above the mid rail independently of the slats below the mid rail should they wish.
By choosing larger panels, the window opening will have less vertical lines at the window, which naturally allows for more light to be let in to the room. The same is true for choosing our “open sky” hidden push rod system. Basically to operate the slats open and closed, rather than having a push rod attached to the slats on the front which again gives another vertical line – the “open sky” hidden push rod system has a strip of aluminium running down the back of the shutter panel to the side. This is attached to the louvres and simply by tilting one slat, the others will tilt in unison, open or closed. This is fast becoming a really popular choice with our customers; the finished shutters have a modern and stylish finish, letting in maximum light when open.
