Sunshine Bay Window Shutters for NW10 London
North West London Shutters
Our North West London shutters customer had a bay with five equal panels. This is typical of most Sunshine Bay windows. They let in lots of light, but often having a curtain pulled across the space of an evening you lose valuable space and the shape of the window. Wooden plantation shutters installed at each section of the bay allows our NW10 Shutters customer to retain the shape of their window.
Each section of the bay has a small opening window at the top of the window section. This gives the bay panel a natural break. To disguise this horizontal wooden line of the window frame from the inside of the room a “mid-rail” has been manufactured within the wooden shutter panel which allows our NW10 Shutters customer to operate the slats above the “mid-rail” independently from the slats below the “mid-rail”. This “mid-rail” design feature is a popular choice with our customers as they obtain a large amount of flexibility, more than they would get with curtains or venetian blinds.
By being able to operate the tops slats independently from the bottom slats, customers with bays like this, particularly in North West London, where most town houses with sunshine bays like the bay in NW10, means their shutters allow them to let in light during the day at the same time as retaining their privacy. Angling the bottom level of slats so that from street level, passers by can’t see in is one of the definite huge bonuses of having a “mid-rail” on wooden interior shutters.
The shutters shown in this North West London Bay are manufactured in cloudy white paint, which is a softer white than our bright white. They have been manufactured using 64mm slats. With a push rod attached to the slats to allow them to be opened and closed.
