They wanted the functionality of the wooden plantation shutters to be obvious, yet they were not too keen on the idea of the more traditional and slightly colonial push-rods being fitted to the front of their louvers.

Our expert design consultant suggested the push rods being manufactured off-set from the centre, which would instantly give the shutters an updated look.

The customers’ shutters are finished in white with 64mm louvers. The panels have been manufactured with a mid-rail break to match up exactly with the top of the lower panel. This gives the larger panels extra strength and is necessary for longer length panels, this mid rail can be manufactured to a number of sizes to match up to any existing break at your window.

The wooden window interior shutters shown in our Forest Hill comprise of quite large panels and they are quite tall, due to their height they have been installed with four sides of frame, magnet plates are situated along the top and the bottom of shutter panels – this gives the wooden interior shutter panels extra stability when they are closed.
