Colour Matching Custom Shutters for Daughter
Wooden painted pink plantation shutters
Plantation shutters are shutters which are installed on the inside of your windows, they are a modern alternative to net curtains or venetian blinds. Nets up at your windows are now thought of to be very old fashioned, often thought of with nosy neighbours and their twitching net curtains as they are looking out of the window!
Plantation shutters are wooden and manufactured to a very high standard. The beauty of Shutterly Fabulous Plantation shutters is that they are manufactured in solid hard wood, either Poplar Wood or Elm. Both of these woods have a beautiful grain which runs through the length of the wood which will show if the shutters are finished with a stain. We have numerous stains to choose from which the consultant will show you upon his visit.
Poplar Wood for shutters compared to Elm Wood has a smooth surface. You can see the grain, but it’s not a deeply recessed grain. Whereas Elm wood has a deep grain running through it which can be seen even if you choose to have a paint finish.
The fushia pink of the shutters shown are not one of our Shutterly Fabulous standard colours.
They have been manufactured in poplar wood. The paints are sprayed on numerous times to achieve a smooth surface for your shutters. The customer wanted to match their shutters to their daughters favourite colour and other detailing in the room. At Shutterly Fabulous we can organise a customer colour match. There is a slight increased cost for this service.
