Our Shutter are manufactured at our own factory, therefore we have no “off the shelf” standardised shutter sizes ready to install at your windows. All windows, no matter how standard you think they are will have slightly differing dimensions and features. Seemingly identical windows in a property can differ the smallest amount which could mean the difference in your shutters which could cause it not to fit.

The shutters we split into four separate slat operation sections, but essentially the shutters have 2 panels. Both panels are divided in two by means of a strengthening mid rail.

Mid rails in shutters are a divider bar which sits mid way up the window, usually to match with a natural break you have in your window. This divider bar seperates the slats about it, from those below it. Giving our customers the opportunity to operate the louvers separately, controlling the light and how it enters the room. Shutters with a mid rail certainly give the customer much more flexibility with how they use their shutters and how they let the light in the room, whilst still maintaining the privacy, all by tilting the slats in different directions.
