Unique converted warehouse chic!

Many of our customers live in unusual homes, converted warehouses are a great example of this. Our West London customer contacted Shutterly Fabulous with ideas about providing the finishing touches to her converted warehouse.

With brick walls and lots of open plan space, our customer in West London wanted to finish her interior shutters with a colour which was quite which would make her shutters unique and would tie in with her warehouse conversion.

She had reservations about asking for a specific colour, but was delighted that it was a service Shutterly Fabulous could provide. For an additional 10% surcharge the colour of her interior shutters could be matched to a specific colour she chose.

Our manufacturers are actually pretty much spot on when it comes to matching a colour. Often customers have Farrow and Ball paint work or furnishings in their homes and we are often asked to match to a specific paint colour. We can match to any colour, often we are requested to match to Paper & Paint Library colours as well as Dulux.

Our W1 customer matched to a specific colour which she had chosen, the time quoted for the installation of her custom coloured unique shutters in her warehouse conversion was a little longer than usual, but our W1 customer was fine to wait a couple of weeks longer for her perfectly finished unique shutters.

She chose a Blue from the Dulux Trade range as a colour for her interior wooden shutters which tied in beautifully with the dark brick work in her W1 warehouse conversion. She also chose to have four panels with a central opening so she could easily access her windows, and chose 64mm slats with a push rod on the front to open and close them.

Our customers can request to change simple features such as the slat size, the number of panels, whether to choose a push rod, or out open-sky system to operate the slats, and can also opt for a custom colour. All of these factors can mean that you create unique shutters for your home, like our W1 customer did!
