Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

No! We send a fully trained consultant to your home to assess, measure and discuss your shutter requirements. This visit is free of charge and without obligation.

How long do my shutters take?

Following your confirmation of the invoice details, your bespoke shutters will take approximately 8-10 weeks. Our team will then contact you to book in your installation.

I've heard about fees going up massively after ordering with other companies. Is this likely to happen with you?

No, our fees are completely transparent. The price will be quoted during your consultation and this is the price you will pay.

How long are my shutters guaranteed for?

Your shutters are guaranteed for 5 years from the point of installation. This includes any quality issues on the shutters.

Where are the plantation shutters made?

We manufacture our shutters in China. We have our own dedicated facility, where our uniquely designed shutters are manufactured. We then have containers leaving weekly from our facility to our UK distribution centre.

I've just moved into my home. Do I have to wait for my shutter to be made before I get anything on my windows?

We can supply our customers with FOC temporary blinds to cover their windows. This service sets Shutterly Fabulous apart from many other shutter retailers.

Do you do DIY shutters?

DIY shutters can be a great success but at Shutterly Fabulous we do not sell shutters directly to you for self installation. Instead, we recommend working with DIY Shutters, the UK’s leading DIY wooden shutters specialist.

DIY Shutters have a dedicated team of plantation shutter experts who know exactly how to advise you on the best way to install affordable window shutters the DIY way

How does payment work, do I have to pay 100% up front?

We require 50% of the payment up front at the time of placing the order. The remaining 50% is due prior to installation when we book in your fitting appointment.

Can I get an idea of costing before my consultation?

Yes. By giving us a rough measurement of the windows that you will be adding shutters to, we can give you a ballpark estimate of how much your shutters will cost.
